Whilst we don't claim to be the biggest or the best, our reputation as one of Lancashire's most popular pub/restaurants is richly deserved. We are independent, not part of some faceless brewery chain and as such can offer you, our valued customer, what you personally want from a Country Inn - and not what some Brewery Marketing Executive thinks you should have! The Fox dates back, as far as we can ascertain, to the mid 1800's. However it has been in our loving ownership since the year 2000. We are open lunchtimes and evenings serving our  award-winning food, Cask Ales, Lagers and a fine selection of wines.
